O-Oh... I don't know if I'd like either of them. [But the point of the game was to pick one, right? So she didn't have a choice.] I guess... singing maybe? Because if I can't sit down how could I draw?
My turn right? Um... would you rather... too hot or too cold?
[Sora is still snickering with delight. It was sort of a mean question but he's still finding it funny to hear her answer.]
Horsetail or a unicorn horn...? Huh. I think I'd pick horsetail because that's just hair that grows back, right? I don't think I'd want to take a horn from a unicorn that sounds like it would be a pretty bad thing to do. That's his horn!
[Who cuts and steals a magical creature's horn?? No matter how cool they are.]
If you had to get rid of one of your senses for good which one would you rather pick? Sight or hearing?
[ It wasn't a big gift, but in a pretty box left in front of the front door is a box with a note for Namine. The box has brand new colored pencils and a cute looking sketch pad. ]
[ Nams' gift from Riku is going to be the following:
• a lotion in a light purple colour that has the scent of lavender and tonka bean (or whatever is reminiscent of it within this world) • a cute pillow in the shape of a cloud, soft to the touch • a package of toffee flavored hot chocolate with a mug in a blue colour with clouds and stars painted across it • a small and soft plush in the shape of a shooting star with a little cat riding on it
There's also a card with the following: You've done so much for the dreams of someone else, I wanted to make sure you yourself had sweet dreams as well. Merry Christmas, Naminé.
[On Christmas day there is a delivery to Naminé. It is a rather heavy wooden box so please be very careful as she probably won't be able to lift the box on her own. It's left in the foyer of the house with a big blue ribbon on it. Inside is a collection of several jars of paint as well as a wrapped collection of handmade brushes. There is also a holiday card attached.]
To Naminé,
Paint like you think no one is watching! And then let the world see! Thank you for always being the one to put us all back together.
[ The message comes in a little hesitant, likely for two reasons: 1. Xion is still unused to using these amulets to communicate, and 2. she's a little nervous about the question she's about to ask. ]
Naminé- Hi! Um, are you busy? I just had... sort of a question.
I want to... try to learn how to draw. [ She amends, a little sheepish. But she's reassured by Naminé's enthusiasm for the idea, so she agrees quickly. ]
O-Okay! That would be great. I'll head over- thanks, Naminé.
[ A short time later there comes a knock on Naminé's door, and when she opens it Xion is there holding a stack of paper. ]
I didn't want to mess up any of your nice sketchbooks. [ -is her explanation. ]
[Naminé smiles softly back at her as she opens the door and leads her in.]
There's no need to worry about that; I have plenty of spare ones from the class I teach. You should take one. It's much easier to keep everything together in one place.
[The girl offers her a blank book along with some fresh color pencils.]
A gift... [ She repeats, a little surprised but no less grateful. It was so sweet of Naminé to not only agree, but also provide the supplies. Suddenly she smiles and nods. ]
...Thank you, Naminé! I'll... try not to let you down! [ DETERMINATION!!! She deflates a tiny bit though, looking a little shy. ]
I've never really drawn... anything before. [ She has a memory of a cave wall, but that's not hers. ]
